Pros

This is hands down the best Software Engineering job of my career. I get to work with a smart, skilled team with great dynamics and an awesome work environment. The company as a whole is very supportive and has great benefits like flexible hours, work from home, unlimited paid time off, and great company outings. It is a company of innovation with a a deep appreciation for the people doing the work. I have greatly enjoyed and appreciated every aspect of working for Mythic.

Cons

Currently no 401k matching. Some of the stresses of any startup, such as occasionally large changes in requirements or goals (though still relatively infrequent).

Pros

Everyone that works here is very open and collaborative. One of the reasons why I joined this company was how welcome I felt when I came in for my interview - the team made me feel like I belonged, and this feeling has translated to my experience as an employee. Leadership actively works to create alignment towards business objectives across different functional groups. This is extremely important as we scale, ensuring that teams do not become silo'd and disconnected from what other groups in the company are working on.

Cons

As is typical of a start up, there are a lot of unknown unknowns, especially with a leadership team that came from academia. However, everyone is committed in always striving to find the best way of doing things and working together to achieve the best solution.
