Pros

Established in 1928, it has a long-standing tradition of being the largest auto parts company in the U.S.,so it's a solid and profitable company with good benefits. There is some opportunity to advance within the company if willing to relocate AND have a college degree.

Cons

Unfortunately, this company for many years has been an anglo-saxon/male-dominated company. Their competitors have had minorities in upper management positions for years but to this day, I will have to say that when you attend a national meeting you will get a very clear picture of which race and which gender runs the company. I've gone only a year, but I was told that a non-white male finally broke the barrier this year. Perhaps the tide is about to change.
