Stable environment and great benefits

Pros

The employees keep a positive attitude which is nice in a support environment. The benefits are top notch and they are very good about the family/work life balance. The managers encourage teamwork and most everyone is willing to go the extra step to help another co-worker.

Cons

There are not a lot of growth opportunities on the Corporate side. What used to be a customer oriented support center has now become a numbers based call center.

Pros

It's a great job especially for older people. In many stores the managers prefer to hire more mature people. If you enjoy being out and about and not stuck in the store all day it's a perfect job, driving around and listening to the radio. You can also get a VERY GOOD discount on auto parts for your personal vehicle. My manager is very flexible when I need days off. There is opportunity to step up to counter sales and further if you are ambitious but it is a slow climb.

Cons

Pay starts at $8.35/hr . Part time employees are not eligible for any benefits but that's pretty much the way it is anywhere you go these days..
