Pros

Excellent fit for superconducting detectors, KIDs/TKIDs, cryogenic readout, microwave systems, and quantum/space sensing. JPL has work in superconducting devices, microwave readout, quantum detectors, and advanced sensors.

Cons

Salary; Many restrictions, internal review, export-control considerations, and delays before publication.

Pros

Learned A lot. Some really great people. Rewarding when tasks are completed My pay was great....UNTIL read cons

Cons

Too many managers. Entirely roo much red tape. Mired in antiquanted process. I was given a number of merit based pay increases that ended up costing my position in the October 25 lay offs.
