The organization invests in its engineers through travel opportunities, international deployments (I worked onsite in Germany), and exposure to cutting-edge aerospace technologies. Having a NASA badge and contributing to missions that make history is genuinely meaningful work.

      Cons

      Funding uncertainties can impact project continuity and long-term planning. Some engineers preferred to defer technical decisions to others rather than driving solutions forward, which occasionally slowed progress. The organizational structure sometimes feels top-heavy, with many layers of management relative to engineers doing baseline technical work, which can impact project momentum.
