Pros

You get exposed to the most challenging problems in aerospace if your expert knowledge is in demand. Salaries can be above industry average if they really want you.

Cons

As budgets have become tighter in recent years, management has been asking more for less to the point where it has become unreasonable. Employees have been asked to take time off without pay.

Pros

Actual job is rewarding. Co workers are good people for the the most part.

Cons

Management blows, salary is sub par with not much hope for improvement. PhDs get all the respect and money and half of them are idiots. Upper management treats employees like children. Lies about things like cost of livings when explain why your raise sucks. Twists facts to suit their case.
