Pros

Great to work with lots of freedom to help make a difference.

Cons

Has a graying work force so hard to move up to more senior positions.

Pros

Global leader in space and always at the forefront of groundbreaking technology. You are always plugged into a pipeline of crazy ideas and will meet astronauts, astrophysicists, scientists and Congressional staff.

Cons

The culture is very old and you find yourself in a very cynical environment. People get burned out but stay for the job security. As someone who is new to NASA, I get brushed off and dismissed often. Outgoing personalities will suffer here. Cubicles and offices are silos.
