      Pros

      Government benefits is top notch. The workload is never too demanding. Every other Friday off, workout during lunch and easy job scope.

      Cons

      Many of the employees have been there forever! They have gotten extremely complacent and it would take an act of God to get them fired for their laziness. Not much upward mobility within the position but it is a solid start to get into the door.

      Employees are given a lot of responsibility and exposed to a wide range of facilities management.

      Staff is lean so you are spread thin.

      Security and good flexibility with personal life. Best if you start directly from school as the culture is antithetic to the private sector mentality.

      Cons

      no chance for advancement HR is very slow and uncooperative
