Pros

Great work-life balance. Good pay and benefits. Challenging work sometimes. Lots of opportunity to interact with other professionals and work as teams. Although an individual's tasking may be minor, the larger supported mission is incredibly important.

Cons

Large govt agency that moves slow. Needed change takes time. Often there are unnecessary obstacles to accomplishing the mission. National politics can sometimes affect your ability to get the job done.
