Very supportive management, always encouraging growth. Also, benefits/PTO/pension. Much lower stress than consulting.

Pay is a bit low Compared to pricate sector.

Pros

Work on structural design of structures throughout Norfolk Naval Shipyard. A lot of analysis and design work. Retrofitting to old buildings is also common. Benefits are solid which is able to be found on government employment website.
