Depending on the team, there’s opportunities to work on a wide range of video content ranging from news to lifestyle. The benefits are great, especially if starting a family.

Cons

When things are slow, they definitely feel slow. Diversity in stories can still be a lot more prevalent as well.

—Job expectations are consistently changing and increasing, while the pay and title remain the same —No work-life balance due to job creep —Toxic leadership from the C-suite down —They pay my non-POC peers more than me despite having similar job experience —The company claims to want a diverse workforce, but a quick look around the office proves that inclusion is just words, not an action they genuinely care about prioritizing
