      Apart from IT the rest of the departments are good to work for

      IT is a sham, slow, unresponsive and very cynical. People are not promoted for their skill and initiative and delivery capabilities. People have risen to the level of incompetence - at least they aren't doing the work which would mean certain meltdown. bordering on corrupt. Promotion is merited on being friends with the VPs If you like football and rugby you'll get on with leadership None of the VPs in tech have any qualifications in IT or anything else. If you want to feel like you are working in fiefdom and dictatorship and have a need to know what 70s style management is then join this team. Otherwise stay well clear!!!

      Positive Internship Experience (Motion Picture Group)

      Pros

      Management made me an integral part of the team; I was allowed to sit in on most meetings and conference calls, some of which directors were excluded from. Boss (SVP) was always receptive to my comments and questions, and the tasks handed to me were very rarely "intern typical". HR hosted numerous networking events and skill building activities.

      Cons

      Commuting to the valley was not ideal, and though $10/hr is above minimum wage, it's not much living in the LA area.
