Pros

Some very passionate and inspiring leaders, but you need to have the good fortune of working with them.

Cons

-No career progression outside the US. -Some managers are ineffective and have been promoted based on tenure rather than aptitude. -The salary is well below what the FAANGs are paying (and as a result a lot of talent is being lost to the tech-cos). -The work is not complex, but there’s a lot of it and there’s not much recognition for the late-night calls and weekend work.
