Activity over accomplishment

Pros

- Good benefits. - In general good work-life balance (unless you get stuck with a draconian manager). - Once you get in, you can stay for the long haul without much effort.

Cons

- Activity and personal relationships are rewarded over accomplishment. - Empty teamwork: lots of patting each other's back without ever delivering any results. - Zero career growth/career advancement opportunities. - Employees are rewarded for compliance and penalized for being creative or assertive. Very risk-averse environment. - Managers do not stand up for their people.
