Great entry-level gig with one of the big studios.

Pros

Worked for Dateline NBC. Great company and even better colleagues. Opportunity to work on a variety of episodes in the crime investigation genre.

Cons

No real succession plan for becoming an actual Producer. Initiatives eventually started that allowed APs to do more writing, but APs usually do the logistics of setting up a shoot, sitting in the edit bay, being in the field.
