Pros

Iconic brand filled with tons of history in television and motion pictures. Truly a unique portfolio of businesses and content.

Cons

Internal cut-throat politics ran rampant in 30 Rock and Los Angeles. Comcast changed the culture of the company. It sucked the life out of this amazing brand and challenged innovation to protect their cable business.

Negative Experience At Great Company

Pros

Opportunity to work on interesting projects (Sporting events like the Olympics and World Cup, movies, well known TV shows), company name looks great on resume, decent health insurance and other benefits.

Cons

I worked in the Miami/Hialeah office and it is overall a very toxic place to work and quite different than the NY or LA offices. In 2+ years of working there almost everyone I worked that I respected with was either laid off or pushed out. It is highly political and those who succeed are typically not the most talented or smartest employees but rather those who spend the most time weaving Game of Thrones-esque political webs. Also, salaries are low, given the amount of responsibility expected in mid-level roles.
