      Like a school left to be run by prefects

      Pros

      Used to have a company atmosphere, ‘all pulling the the same direction’, support from CEO etc.

      Cons

      Now new ‘leadership’ have come in and tried to ‘modernise’ the company, but with no real strategy so a lot of disruptive change for no tangible benefit. Escrow left to ‘figure it out’, with no change to the leadership essentially formed by ‘being a friend of the previous CEO’ (MD) and ‘indulging the Trumpesque mindset of the MD’ (‘Senior Leadership Team’). With nobody bringing any real expertise to the division we continue to sink into the background as the Assurance division gets all the investment and progress. I can’t see Escrow being a part of NCC in another 5 years.

      Was a great place to work until Rob Cotton left. It went downhill fast following his departure!

      Pros

      If you worked hard, it was rewarded to a degree. However, certain managers would do their best to stop you progressing as they didn’t want the spotlight to be removed from them.

      Cons

      Managers of certain teams, especially marketing and HR, were out for themselves. No team ethics at all - it was about how they could progress and what they’d get for themselves, not about the team. Poor management style and very sly, underhand behaviour! They also actively bullied staff and it was a really unprofessional environment at times. Of course they did their best to hide their behaviour from Rob Cotton!

      Pros

      The CEO Adam is awesome! He takes a true interest in every aspect of the business at every level. Also the company culture and benefits are great.

      Cons

      Compensation is below average. The IR practice is severely damaged. Until current management is replaced I don't see anything changing.
