Worked during the time "Web performance was part of NCC" - it had a legacy product and making once small change required lots of bureaucratic process. The worse thing was a people. You will get humiliated & insulted in front of everyone for making a small mistake. Most of the time I felt as if I was working in a butcher shop rather than IT department. Every week there was at least one resignation and people working were not friendly. Linux terminal has much more sense of humour, then people next to you. Favouritism

Change is often and poorly executed Strategy is very poorly executed and has changed 4-5 times in my 2 years Target is provided too late in financial year - target is given 3-6 months into the financial year Target changes on the regular Management isn’t supportive Too many processes to enable an account Manager to get proposals out Lack of solution architects in turn resource is over loaded Target high (which is ok) however the business does not support you to enable you to hit it Quoting process very poor and long can take weeks to get a quote back from QA then prospect has gone cold There are a couple of employees that are treated like God and get away with not following guidelines yet management overlook this Hierarchy is old school Do not value employees Management in it for themselves Very male orientated Maternity and paternity scheme is well below average Change is very very slow
