Well respected within the industry. Opportunities to get involved in many interesting and impactful projects for well-known clients.

Cons

Upper management has no interest in meaningful engagement with employee concerns. Minimal pay increases over the last few years have led to overall decline in employees' compensation in real terms. Continued layoffs, including one large cull in North America in February 2025 which wasn't even acknowledged by senior management. Ultimately, the company is at the mercy of ruthless investors who are in it for their own short term profit (e.g. Kelso Group). Overall morale has been killed, numerous key people left and gone forever. Plenty of opportunities for juniors in Philippines but over time they'll have less and less experienced staff to learn from. High-profile customers are already leaving as the inevitable loss of quality starts to bite -- eventually NCC Group will become just another shoddy penetration testing company delivering no value to customers while the current crop of investors laugh all the way to the bank.

Everyone below the executive level is wonderful and cares about each other and their jobs. Benefits were highly competitive, but they will definitely continue to degrade in coming years due to the hyper-focus on saving money over valuing and retaining top talent.

Cons

Where to start?? The whole place is in a constant state of flux, and nothing is allowed to settle before additional changes are shouted down by the executives who are completely disconnected from what's actually happening. When offshoring was initially announced, the CEO assured all employees Manila was going to be additional support and not coming in the replace jobs elsewhere, which has proven to be a lie. I'm watching my favorite colleagues and, dare I say friends, disappear left and right, either through the constant RiFs or voluntarily fleeing this sinking ship. The work/life balance has gone out the window in the past two years because we're all working on a skeleton team and have taken on so much additional labor because of the RiFs and not replacing people who leave on their own.
