Pros

NCC offers competitive employment options, salaries, and benefits packages. Room for growth and advancement in all locations is a plus!

Cons

Could be a little more organized - introduce the left hand to the right hand sort of thing.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review – if you have any ideas you would like to share on how we can improve the business further please feel free to come and share them with us. It’s great to hear you feel we offer competitive salaries as we take a great deal of time to understand the market to ensure we offer our employees the best package possible. Careers development is also of particular importance to us and the fact we now have 32 offices which does mean we are lucky that our employees can grow their careers both locally and globally. Thanks again!

Pros

- Good money to be earned so long as you're in the 10% of people that are actually favoured, and given accounts and opportunity to exploit. - Excellent selection of fresh fruit and hot and cold beverages. - Great travel infrastructure around the office, which ensures a quick getaway at 5.30pm. Although this may change when we move offices. - Share scheme. Although why anybody would want to contribute there hard earned money to prop up this business is beyond me.

Cons

- Draconian management principles , By this i mean that some of the techniques used by team managers wouldn't have looked out of place in pre biblical times in Egypt. - Systematic bullying is endemic here and only the strongest survive. - The Escrow model is built around Fear, Doubt and uncertainty. This is also the same approach that is used to keep us on our toes. - Call stats. Has there ever been a more pointless metric to measure someone by? - Did i mention draconian management principles? - Intense level of micro management, which borders on the ridiculous. - Too many games being played, and too many empires being built by the few with a megalomania complex. - No holidays allowed in either October or May. So dont get married in those months, or have kids on half term. You just ain't getting the time off. - Finally, Draconian management principles.

Thanks for your feedback - I’m genuinely sorry to hear that you don’t feel that we have so far delivered to your expectations, and we hope you give us the opportunity to rectify this for you. To clarify, our model is based around ensuring our Escrow employees can deliver the best results for both the business and ultimately themselves. At NCC Group, performance has a high impact on our employees’ earnings. We value high performance and while a small part of this might depend on the accounts available to individuals, the majority is how our employees can maximise their account base and opportunities. Decisions about accounts are based upon how well individual’s perform, therefore, the better you perform the more opportunities will come your way. As a business we are always happy to speak to any employee about how we can assist you with this so please do get in touch with myself or HR. At NCC Group we are always looking to invest in our employees’ skills, including supporting our management team in their development. All of our managers within the Escrow division are currently undertaking an internal management development programme to ensure that they can continue to support, motivate and lead their teams. We do offer a fantastic share scheme to our employees which enables employees to benefit if the share price performs well, which historically it has done. While you might doubt why people would like to contribute to it, I can confirm that it is a very popular benefit amongst our employees, with over 45% of our current employee base subscribing to the scheme. A large proportion of employees have benefitted substantially from the past performance of this scheme. With regard to the comment on holidays, May and October are the busiest periods of the year for the Escrow sales division, and prospective and new employees are made aware of that before or upon joining. While we ask our employees to avoid those dates, we do appreciate there may well be specific circumstances where individuals need to take time off in those months, and we always endeavour to support these (especially for our employees with caring responsibilities). We would encourage any employees to make us aware as early as possible of circumstances that might mean they would like us to look at time off during this period. I can see you are still a current employee. We have an open door policy so please do come and see me to discuss your concerns further, I’m always keen on listening to feedback and ideas on how to do better. Alternatively, you can also approach HR in a confidential manner. Regards Daniel
