Pros

Aside from the initial reaction of telling people you work in sports, none come to mind.

Cons

Quite possibly the worst leadership I’ve ever encountered. Every year they strip work life balance from us, most recently they took away remote days from employees with no prior notification. Employee turnover is high because of poor management/leadership and employees overworked with no room for promotion or work life balance.

Taking advantage of talent

Pros

If you’re into sports you’ll be involved in sports conversation everyday There’s opportunities to attend events usually only for full time though

Cons

Most roles are part-time, seasonal, contract the company takes advantage of these roles and talent without giving them full time benefits and perks. Makes it hard to want to stay with this company Very cliquey Onboarding is not great, 30 mins presentation and you’re on your own Non full time are treated like bottom of the barrel people with almost no incentives and have to be around full time people constantly talking about events they attend, things they have access to etc Forcing employees to go into office 5 days a week saying that COVID isn’t much of an issue meanwhile they send an email at least once a week communicating that someone in the office has gotten covid. Almost every role can be done without being in the office especially since most members of each team are spread throughout different locations. They just need bodies to fill the offices while creating micro managing to “Covid safety”

Little Opportunity

Pros

Prestigious/High Profile Company. High Visibility/Quality Work.

Cons

Little to no opportunity for advancement. Most positions part-time/seasonal. Almost impossible to be promoted to full-time. Expectations for part-time employees are exactly the same as full-time workers, yet there is a vast discrepancy between how part-time and full-time employees are treated. Bottom line of the company is reliant on overperforming and dedicated seasonal/part-timers.
