Pros

Entry to mid level coworkers are smart, hardworking, and nice to be around. On occasion you get to go to a game or sometimes even the Super Bowl. The work itself is engaging and stimulating.

Cons

There are too many cons, but at a very high level the company culture that is dictated by a very unorganized and traditionally minded HR department along with a very disconnected senior leadership team is the main reason that I along with many others have left. The HR department and many senior leaders at the top believe in the idea that you should be grateful that you work for the NFL. Compensation is low compared to other industries despite the fact that the NFL can afford to pay its employees more and there is little to no room for negotiation. Hours can be long but again the mindset is we are a “family” and “together it takes all of us” to make this company run. When in reality, the company doesn’t care if you leave, nor do they make an effort to retain employees. Definition of cog in machine workplace. Minimal work from home flexibility when that is literally what employees are asking for (about 1 day per week you can work from home during the 2021 season, but no plans have been announced if that will be the case moving forward). They send out satisfaction surveys each year to get employee’s opinions on, but then pick and choose the feedback they want to listen to. The company acts as if we won’t get our work done from home or that if employees work from home every Friday indefinitely that it will hurt their bottom line some how. There are so many more cons to this place than what is mentioned above.
