People tend to throw you under the bus or take credit for your work behind your back Very low pay, and they tend to promote folks who don't deserve it while ignoring the ones who do

Low pay and I did not like how they handled the pay increase conversation. I told them I was willing to come in at a lower pay rate, but that I did not want them to consider that pay rate when it came time for a raise. The agreed, but after 1 year, they said they were constrained by corporate pay increase percentage limits. When I appealed by proving that was not what we discussed, the relationship soured.
