Pros

Stimulating, rewarding and impactful work. Flexible and collegial team environment. Most people are highly professional and experts in their field. Supporting and leading innovation in academia and industry.

Cons

Very high pace and high volume work with limited support staff. Some management can be slow to open up to change. Opportunity for remote work has become more of a possibility due to the covid pandemic, but is not yet official.

Pros

They pay you handsomely Flexible hours via a set schedule of your choosing NIH looks flawless on any resume There is no contact with any the patients The campus is gorgeous

Cons

The pharmacy department, specifically, is in disarray due to new hires None of the technicians have a sense of comradery or teamwork There is constant bickering between pharmacists & technicians thus putting the jobs of technicians in danger Management treats pharmacy techs as though we are expendable There is favoritism being shown to specific technicians
