appreciate knowledge, research, science, and ability most departments pretty well run well funded government benefits but greater emphasis on merit flexible work environment student loan payoff
Cons
still part of government so can be slow and bureaucratic, depending on your office sometimes stuck with older technology frequent reorganizations waste a lot of time (endemic to places run by political appointees)
