Pros
Amazing brand, fantastic product (which you and your family get a huge discount on) athletes show up on campus, fantastic work environment, great coworkers. 2 gyms like you've never seen that you can go to during work hours (where else can you swim @ work?). Flexible work arrangements (telecommute, flex time), stock + bonuses + profit sharing + employee stock purchase program are consistently profitable and good investments. Work can be inspiriring and company always "does the right thing" environmentally. Great vacation/sick policy.
Cons
Unclear career pathing - where do I go from here? Once you're in the company, you're on your own to manage your own career. Limited training opportunities for growth. Often times biz units are under resourced, causing employees to have to work long hours for months at a time. You are always expected to produce no matter what - if that means killing yourself, so be it. Promotions are handed out based on who you know not what you do - frequently the most qualified person for the job is passed over to give the management role to a less qualified or deserving candidate. Compensation is low for the area and industry (but this is alleviated by many of the perks).
