NJM once great... Now too little too late!

None! All gone! No pension. No Freedom. No independent thought!

Cons

Where do ya start? A company whose ego is so big it became a dinosaur because it thought it didnt have to change its antiquated way of doing business or culture. NJM was just that awesome. Cough! Now the company is desparately trying to catch up to the 20th century. Yes thats 20th because its not ready for the 21st. Better not have a brain or speak your mind. Thats a big No No! NJM life is now so stressful people are dying from it. If you make it to retirement you will probably die just a couple years later. Dont believe it? Check out the NJM memorial and retirees. Also a big feature of NJM was no surcharge for tickets to accidents. That went out the window! And long time insureds are leaving in droves as their premiums skyrocket. I think the end is near for NJM.

Some very nice people work here.

Cons

This company requires membership eligibility in order to obtain insurance. An employee of the Kushner Organization was allowed to obtain policies without membership. NJM allowed membership for political purposes due to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's wealth and power. This was unethical and was allowed in order to accommodate the ultra-rich and fear of repurcussions from the Trump Organization . Do not purchase insurance from this company or seek employment at this company. SHAME ON NJM

They treat their employees with respect. They value their employees. It is a nice environment to work in.

Cons

They do not give much paid time off. They do not provide any sick time. If you are sick, they expect you to use your personal time. I think they should pay more for certain postions
