Pros

Good pay, work from home.

Cons

Supervisors/underwriters. On top of the heavy work load & constant phone calls, if we get a call asking to speak w/ management we are told to push back. But in training they tell you once someone asks for a manager transfer them. Everything’s very contradicting. Vacation bidding is a nightmare. Time blocking is unfair because even if you have the time to use, you can’t which forces you to burn through sick hours.

Pros

The pay was a big step up for me, the training was honestly very good and left me prepared for the job. Support from my supervisor, team lead, and from the insurance specialists. The hybrid work from home schedule is nice. The cafe has pretty decent food and very affordable prices, and the free daily soup, oat meal and grits are a nice touch. Would recommend.

Cons

Working on Saturday is definitely the low point of the job. Also customer-facing jobs aren't my favorite, but that's just part of the job.

Pros

Work from home hybrid. Nurse office on site. Standard 401k with company match.

Cons

Poor management, unclear employee ranking, unorganized department, overworked, gaslighting from upper management in a regular basis. All day tech issues that prohibit you from doing your job. Job titles and ranking unclear. Hard to use time off for partial day. Must bid for time off a year ahead. Bidding ranking stats is a secret. Supervisors don’t know what your job is. Pay increases don’t keep up with cost of living. No holiday bonus. Subpar cafeteria food. Lunch break 30 minutes. No worklife balance. Personal lines reps can’t participate in company events or marketing events. Unskilled workforce management. No diversity and inclusion. Terrible service provided to customers that don’t speak English.
