Pros

Good workforce, some bosses very good, most days are good days.

Cons

They are lowering standards trying to find Electricians. Lack of communication so you have to find out what is going on through grapevine. Lack of access to needed information to make problem solving easier. You are rewarded for who you know and not on merit.

Decent pay. Good health benefits for now.

Cons

Every 4 years we redo a contract with nlmk. Every 4 years they try to change our insurance. This year is contract year. You would think with the covid 19 virus and the impact it had globally, that maybe they would leave our health Iinsurance alone. That doesn't seem to be the case. Yes they did lay off high risk people for 2 weeks, what they didnt say is that the number was quite high that was laid off. They forced the rest of the mill on overtime to make up the difference.

Great Health insurance, dental and vision.

Cons

Buddy system to get promoted. Buddy system has allowed people in what should be a bachelor degree positions without even having a associate degree. Dictatorship environment more than a team approach . Famous reply to being treated unfairly or not agreeing with something - if you don’t like it there’s the door...
