      Many great people work at NOV that are passionate and invested in what they do.

      Like many big companies the bureaucracy can get in the way.

      Pros

      long Hours, Competitively Low pay for Technicians, Free Coffee, Free Water, Discounted Soft Drinks from the vending machines. As long as you look good on paperwork, you can be really bad at your job and still not get let go.

      Cons

      No raises in the last... MANY years, Treated as if you should be Lucky to have a job instead of them being lucky to have employees. Insurance has suffered, Stocks went to crap, Lost retention bonuses, and workload still increases.

      Pros

      Company will provide endless hours. You receive paid holidays: company has good benefits package to offer for employees. Laid back work environment If you don’t feel like working

      Cons

      HR is controlled by upper management. Employees have no protection with HR rules & regulations. Company does not follow its own ethics policies. Pay is under value of current market. Company has poor management system and very little opportunities to grow. Mgmt attempts to keep positive contributors in their respective roles while reaping the credit for others’ hard work. Consistently lazy work environment
