A lot of travel and sometimes with very short notice. After spending weeks out of town, you have to go to the production yard and help the Production group end prep pipe. Seems like after doing your job, you have to help others do theirs.

some management sucks, too much politics, friendship. if you are not protected or have a buddy manager, you won't go too far. if your manger is an expat and you are from the geographical area/ country he/ she is you are screwed, not going anywhere. Nationals from the UK/ Europe are taking more and more higher influential positions and these people are making wrong biased decisions to favor their own nationals against US citizens and other nationals. if you are not from the same country your manager is, go find a job somehwere,
