Pros

The technical staff were incredibly welcoming, smart, and professional folks and it was a pleasure working with them.

Cons

I started this job bright eyed and positive but couldn't believe the speed at which I was transformed into apathetic mush by this place. I loved working with my team but could see the world beyond my little bubble was a withering shell of a once vibrant, mission driven company. Senior leadership is disconnected from daily operations and all I heard from them was empty ambition and buzzwords with no meaningful direction. Seems like the people at the top are more interested in using this place to generate a few lines about improving KPIs on their resume than anything else. Apathy breeds apathy and I knew it was time to go.

Pros

See the review headline and think of a 100 similar adjectives. INFINITE ZEROS...

Cons

Every single minute I spent here for 4 months was a nightmare. I could not wait to get out of it. I was initially hired for a certain role and then moved to a different group to help them out temporarily. So I was reporting to two different managers and both of them were just horrible, I don't know them on a personal level but they are the most unfit managers I had come across in my career. It was all work and no play. In the 4 months I was there, both of them knew nothing about me other than my name. That's the kind of interaction they maintain with their employees. There was no flexibility. I was treated like an hourly employee even though I was a salaried employee. I was asked to use PTO for leaving a few min. early, even though I told them that I wrote my report from home. They constantly monitored my entry and exit times rather than caring about my performance. There was a stupid pin board and a register, which we had to use to mark entry and exit times. Getting there at 8:30 was considered late and I was asked about how I was going to make up time. I wasn't even an entry level engineer there, I was in a senior position and this was the kind of trust they had in their employees. Way understaffed and I had seen some employees working 9-10 hours every day. Compensation is below par compared to other industries. Another technician also left under mysterious circumstances, while I was there. He also stayed with the company for only about 4-6 months. I was promised work from home after 2-3 months, but when I asked about it, they said I can't do it at the moment. I wasn't allowed to work from home for even an hour. Enough said!

Pros

remote but that is changing and more employees are asked to return

Cons

Everyone is leaving. They've been under a transformation and it's only gotten worse. Compensation is low. toxic culture, they do not consider the workload, they do not care much about the people like they try to make out—very poor leaders and structure for anyone in HR. A punishing pace and global demands show that most employees are burned out and looking for exits. No DEI work at all and toxic racist leaders are tolerated.
