If management likes you you can ascend quickly despite no skill or effort put in.

Cons

Pay is bad. Benefits are bad. Favoritism. Little room for advancement. Often asked to work at 200% capacity on a skeleton crew.

Pros

The work is not highly technical or mentally demanding. There are great remote possibilities as well as flexible work schedule options. There is many abilities to move across part of the compnay.

Cons

NSF is a company stuck 10 years behind most large companies. The IT infrastructure is an mess of Band-Aids. The leaders often have little to no clear understanding of the day to day operations. The culture is siloed and mostly centered around performing like a robot. Pay is below average and vertical moved in the company is rarely ever achieved.
