This is not the management you're looking for
Pros
The job is very easy, and the pay is decent considering what you do. You basically copy and paste emails over and over and over..... and that's about all you do. If you don't have any career goals or ambitions, then this is the place for you.
Cons
The job is easy, unfortunately dealing with SOC management makes this job unbearable. People aren't writing these reviews because they are unhappy where they are in life, or just upset. No one got hired with the intention of taking time out of their day to come on here and write a negative review. This is not the case of a couple disgruntled employees. The SOC analysts just expect a semi-competent management staff. No one expects things to be perfect, but at least pretend to try an manage. Things have got so bad, I don't know if it can be salvaged at this point. You threaten to fire people, but you fail to realize you're just lucky that enough people even show up on a given day. There's a reason why the SOC is a revolving door, and that reason is the management. Do you really think it's just a crazy coincidence that no one wants to work in the SOC? .....cmon dude don't insult our intelligence.
