Pros

Typical benefits of corporate structure. Company has enough weight to land consistent, well-funded work, and the resources to staff and equip the necessary crews.

Cons

Typical cons of corporate structure. Short term, investor-oriented thinking undermines stability, long-term growth potential, and retention.

Pros

They offer a good salary.

Cons

Management support is not the best. They are not so forthcoming about what is expected on the job. You end up driving Lon hours to the field and spending 10-12 hours per day in the field without proper safety gear. The PTO is not the best. They make you think it is unlimited PTO, meanwhile it isn’t. And they get upset when you want to take PTO days. They do not have great benefits like end of year bonus.

Pros

- Nice and passionate people - Interesting subject material - Good office location

Cons

- bad management - 401K match paid out as a 3 year cliff vest in stock (should be illegal) - limited bonus and pay increases - when our company was bought by NV5 is when it all started to go down hill. - they are a company that gobbles up other companies to juice their own valuation and has the worst integration execution imaginable
