What I like most about working here is the flexibility in my schedule and work arrangement. NV5 let's us work from home primarily, with only occasional in-office days asked of us. My work hours at home is given as a range, to work 40 hours a week and be online present from 10am-3pm. The team leadership is willing to work with me when I need accommodations and they don't shame me for my requests. Sometimes the work is interesting, I get to learn new workflows, or solving problems in the data.

Cons

The work we do is unimaginative. Our work focuses on serving clients in the utilities industry and supporting compliance with regulations. It's oftentimes tedious, data processing. Working from home, at a computer, sometimes I feel lonely and wish for more human connection. I wish that we were paid better.
