Pros

Pay is relatively good to experienced candidates. Work life balance is good. Relaxed feel as long as you like your manager.

Cons

Corporate culture. Benefits are not great. Hard to excel and advance. Management seems to struggle bringing in enough work to keep people busy.

Pros

Hybrid schedule — the flexibility to work from home was a major plus. Decent pay for the role and responsibilities. Friendly, supportive coworkers who made day-to-day work more enjoyable. Workload was manageable — not many high-pressure deadlines.

Cons

No work = no hours = no pay. Sent home without pay during slow periods. No 401(k) match — just company stock after three years, with little to no value. Sudden layoffs and unpaid “standby” time with no warning. Leadership seemed more focused on billable hours than employee well-being. Promises made during hiring were not followed through. Job security felt conditional, not guaranteed. If you call it a full-time position, it should come with full-time support. That means steady pay, real benefits, and job security. Anything less is misleading — and harmful. We need to hold companies accountable for how they treat their people. Everyone deserves transparency, respect, and fair compensation for their time and skills.

Sometimes really good, sometimes really bad

Pros

Good pay Fun culture and team members If you enjoy meetings you'll have a lot of them Management has good intentions, just bad execution

Cons

Cuts, cuts, cuts. They aren't afraid to cut an employee if they aren't producing the expected product. This goes for anyone. The lower levels are definitely a revolving door. They are constantly hiring and constantly firing new employees. They aren't afraid to cut out upper management either. This leave so many holes they will expect you to fill. Any upward mobility will just be you gaining new hats. If they give you a promotion you're most likely going to be doing your old job and your new job.
