Pros

NVIDIA offers the ability to obtain a lot of broad experience in the ASIC industry. Your assignments can vary wildly from project to project, but this can cause problems when projects (and their schedules) aren't properly managed. For example, designs can be compromised by inconsistent ownership and poor understanding of the design.

Cons

Long-term prospects for NVIDIA are somewhat uncertain in the context of AMD' and Intel's platform ownership. Inconsistent management focus leads to disappointing project performance.

Pros

Nvidia is a very flexible place when it comes to policies. A very competitive place to be in, hires best of people around. Project Execution is the priority. Decisions are quick, risk taking is very high. Overall lot of action...

Cons

If you are not disciplined, then work-life balance is screwed. There could be big disparity in salaries, fair compensation need not be a concern for the company. Look out for managers ready to stab in the name of culture.. There is no skip levels, feedback always flows downwards..., so if you are in a position of power, you can screw your reportees, smile to top management and still walk away with a fat pay check.

Pros

Cutting edge technology! Many challenges are in here since most of the products NV making is very unique and highly integrated. You could have a lot of fun for pursuing cutting edge technologies and see how were they eventually realized to products.

Cons

Poor benefit and no sick day. If you are sick, you have to use your vacation. Compensation is very much depanding on stock price. Typically, you need to stay at work for more than 8 hrs. If you are work-life balance seeker, this place definitely not for you. Due to the very fast pace of product developement schedule, you soon realize you are becoming exceution machine not innovative thinker.
