Pros

Falt management structure, a flexibility with switching projects and teams.

Cons

Still could be quite a lot of bureaucracy. Compensation is not great, only stock price growth saves the situation. And many teams are not moving fast enough.

Pros

* CEO is employee-centric, often strong-arming HR into implementing the policies that employees ask for. * Compensation is incredibly high, even before accounting for stock price increases. * Work-life balance is great - there is no expectation to kill yourself with work or to be available beyond the typical working hours. * Employees own their work and decide how to push it forward, and are not micro-managed ("the mission is the boss"). * The remote vs hybrid vs onsite decision is yours alone, you choose what works best for you. This is reiterated by the CEO every quarter when the question inevitably comes up. * NVIDIA has its fingers in way more pies than people generally realize, which makes for really interesting projects and inter-department collaborations. * There is virtually no silo effect, people reach across teams constantly.

Cons

* I wish I had joined sooner instead of wasting time at less fulfilling companies.

Pros

* Smallest big tech company---much less bureaucracy * Exciting projects * Fully-remotability and working hour flexibility * Agile and passionate culture * Competitive benefits and compensation * Lovely and visionary CEO and e-staff * Open culture

Cons

* Internal tools or out-of-box setup almost don't exist---especially when comparing with other giant big tech like Google or Meta. I have to set up my own environment. It's fun to me but can be painful to many people * No annual cash bonus (RSU refresh yes) * From what I heard, internal transfer notifies the manager before the first interview with other teams * Can be very busy on some days
