Pros

Good Compensation. Lunch and Dinner (almost free) Food is typically $5.50 and Nvidia pays $5.0 Its easy to work from home since it is a email culture.

Cons

Working weekends. Too much of email and less interaction. AT the mercy of market forces so lot of projects are cancelled. Good work is tend to be given to young people and grunt work to experienced people.

Pros

NVIDIA has some of the best talent in chip design industry. The work environment is full of energy. Strong focus on engineering - so as an engineer, you form the core of the company. The management is mostly honest and transparent. Very little b****s*** from management. Even senior people are hands on.

Cons

The schedule tends be quite hectic. Expectations are high and sometimes unrealistic. Fun mostly is absent from work. You come to office, work, go back home, work. No office outings. Sometimes work tends to get repetitive and boring.

Pros

Great place to work!! It's the best dynamic big company to work for!!

Cons

Not really a downside, but since you are asking - the work is pretty demanding!! You need to be able to spend a good time working. It's surely not a 9-5 job...
