Pros

NVR Mortgage offers great opportunities for growth from within. There is a strong culture that fosters a team atmosphere, while also invoking a competitive environment for driven and talented people. Great training for employees with or without prior mortgage experience and the support from management and other employees is exceptional.

Cons

Employees must have grit and must be extremely competitive; if you don't like that type of atmosphere, NVR Mortgage will not be a fit for you.

Strong culture, promote from within, challenging, great pay, industry leader with consistent growth and employees take part in that growth, profit sharing program with all employees benefitting (not just executives), senior leaders are real people who connect with entire staff, customer-focused culture where everyone has an opportunity to help customers with a life-changing purchase, meaningful work

Cons

This is not the place for you if you are not competitive, driven and resilient. NVR is a true meritocracy.
