I was part of worst team with worst people in it (My honest review)
Pros
Only good thing is I learned technology/technical skills they used. But i'm not at all using them in my work now. Nobody uses it in the industry exect 1 or 2 companies. It's very niche and proprietary. Very specific to company.
Cons
Terrible team to work with. JCOP(eUICC&eSE) team. I worked in a team called JCOP. I was a fresher when I joined them. Since I was a fresher, I wanted to learn and expand my knowledge. I was willing to put in extra hours without expecting anything, because I was passionate to learn the technical stuff. The manager i had took it as an opportunity to get more things done. I had never thought he would use me for his benefit. He got good rating or appreciation from his boss, while I was left without any hike or promotion. I did not receive even a single word of appreciation from my manager or his manager. I delivered extraordinary results. Folks in the other team could recognize it and sometimes software architects or leads appreciated my work in scrum meetings. But no one from my team appreciated. Their behavior was like, what did you do, I did even more stuff. Finally, after two years, realizing their true faces, I quit and joined another company. The problem in NXP JCOP team was that they don't appreciate people from other backgrounds such as the language i.e., Kannada people only support Kannada people, Hindi only Hindi people. They don' t like each other and so they don't want people from other background to grow in their team. This is such a bad attitude and I am glad that i'm not working in that team anymore. I worked extra hours without expecting anything, so many sleepless nights. I stayed in office whole night so many days without sleep to do their work. I hate them with my whole heart. I am so happy that I left them. Worst people I ever met.
