      Pros

      relative good work and life balance, less aggressive compared to my previous company, colleagues respect your right to take holiday; use to have R&D center for doing fun research, but it is changing now.

      less opportunity for engineer to growth in both salary and job title;

      NXP is a well established organization. - family life balance - neat and secure place to work - free coffee and soft drinks

      - Too big after the merger with Freescale - Prone to re structuring - Prone to carving out other business lines

      Pros

      General conditions good, good atmosphere, flexible working hours, some benefits packages, with good contributions to the pensions. Clean and well maintained working environments.

      Cons

      Pay not bad but could be better. Always a long hard fight to get promotions. Recent merger is causing some uncertainty and speculation of changes, sell offs etc.
