The engineers there are very smart. They have very good knowledge in microelectronics. The technology process is quite advanced. The working pace is durable there.

Cons

Lots of people are laid-off recently. They have very good products but the marketing is not very good. The company size is quite large. It is not a fabless company.

As with almost any large company the experience depends on the group where you are and the manager above you.

Good place to start and to learn, a lot of courses (in the past)

Cons

Sometimes too much politics from the management, technically (e.g. measurement equipment/tools/software) is not "top of the world". Used to be better place to work when NXP Semiconductors was still Philips Semiconductors.
