Liked the people I worked with, Supervisor was very supportive and a great mentor Got to communicate and interact with the general public Had some time at the end to use skills I learned from school to solve scientific questions Eligible for holiday pay and overtime.

Cons

Never got weekends off. Lots of down time after field season was over

Lots of management, nobody knows what they are really doing. They are slowly trying to higher more Seasonal Employees to replace full time employees to save money.

Getting out at 4 PM in the summer, Overtime Holidays, Relaxed work environment, beautiful geography.

Cons

Closed minded co-workers, good ol boys club attitude, if you dont fit in you will not enjoy your day. If you work harder than your co workers expect to get shunned for making them look bad.
