Pros

The level that I applied for, the company was willing to offer me the next level role without me pushing them.

Cons

Directionless, Indecessive, Unfocused. They are not sure about what they are looking for in a candidate. I had cleared 9 rounds out of 10 Interviews including: 1 IQ ,2 Face to face & 5 Case studies for Project management and Business Analysis each after another round. Finally with the last round I had a F2F discussion with VP, based on the healthy discussion it sounded very positive. Although after 2 days something must have changed their mind and they are considering my profile for future openings (means not selected- been the case they could have done that earlier) which tells that they had no reason to put my profile aside in earlier 9 rounds(selected) and hence they arranged the last with VP.So , it looks like they are unclear about the requirements , roles and identifying the dynamic talent. Time Spent - 3-4 weeks Experience - Not good as HR and Management is unclear, hence it can take longer than expected.

This is rather troubling - that you had 9 rounds of interview and then were shooed away. Can you please be so kind to write to me directly with details at manas@.com? Thanks.

Pros

Awesome CEO Manas, fun to work with and talk too. It was a pleasure to work with him. Progressive, Growing organization with opportunities spread across multiple domains.

Cons

Prejudiced middle and upper management with reporting into too many leaders. Technical leadership has skewed view on the current technical landscape. Having families (Wives) of leadership with lesser maturity and experience sitting on top of skilled employees create hurdles and barriers who then prefer to move out of Nagarro.

Thanks for the kind words for me and for the company - well at least a few kind words for the company :-) To address your three points on the Cons side: 1. Hopefully this will improve with the new HRMS rollout clarifying who each person's Operarional Guide is (we prefer not to call this a "boss") even in complex project situations. 2. With Nagarro's acquisitions of tech-forward companies around the world, this can't stay a problem for long regardless of what you experienced. 3. Sorry to hear about what you perceive as nepotism. As per our policy, no family members should be in a direct reporting relationship. At the same time, we encourage spouses to both work here if they can get in on their own merits. My own wife works at Nagarro - just to be clear, she's a gold medalist and at Nagarro was already handling accounts like GE and running initiatives like training when I first met her. And that was nearly a decade ago. IMHO, we have to be careful to avoid sexist stereotypes in the context of spouses working in the same company, even while setting up checks against nepotism.

Pros

You get money for survival. Get good designation but no promise to play the role hired for. HR and Senior Management is accessible but with no value addition.

Cons

Discrimination on the basis of gender. Discrimination between old and new employees, Old employees in the management are treated as God. Doesn't follow labor law and don't pay paid leave for weekends even to their full time permanent employee. HR is not qualified and not doing the job in order to prevail fair treatment and good work culture instead focus on creating onsite travel for themselves.

I'm really sorry that you did not seem to have a good time with Nagarro. From your post, I guess you have been onsite and had some misgivings with your experience. Expat HR is complicated by the fact that different departments are involved - HR, legal, finance, travel - and this may have created glitches as we grew rapidly and into half a dozen new countries. We are working on streamlining our "UX". We routinely engage the best law and accounts firms in every region to guide us but now we are also hiring more local HR folks to provide the human touch that might have started to be a gap.
