Pros

Lot of exposure to work with foreign clients. You directly interact with them. Work on latest technology Flexibility in some projects. Increamants better than other companies

Cons

Enterprise agile. All or most projects work on Agile (scrum) but its for namesake. Actually these projects are fix bid projects. No or less learning in these projects. Only aim is to deliever project. Projections into these projects should be done carefully. These projects are mentally too exhaustive.

Dear colleague, Thank you for providing feedback. In my response, I aim to provide more information which should address some of the concerns that you have with working at Nagarro. When Nagarro says "Enterprise Agile", the Agile in it doesn't only imply Agile Software Development - it implies our mindset and ability to work in a fast-changing environment - it highlights one of our core values. That said, yes, the majority of our projects are done using agile methodologies. But why should the cost model of a project have a bearing on the development model? It is feasible to have a fixed cost project which is executed in an agile development fashion. If you'd like to discuss this in more detail, I am happy to meet you and understand why you see this as a con. With regards to bidding on Java projects, we don't bid on projects based on technology, we bid on projects based on the problem that we need to solve - some require Java to be used, others require other tech stacks. Also, nor do we have java resources "sitting" on "bench", so you shouldn't worry about it so much. Feel free to reach out to me if directly if you'd like to discuss any of these topics or others. Regards.

Dear colleague, Thank you for taking the time to put a feedback here on Glassdoor. Let me try and address some of the concerns that you have mentioned here. I am not sure why you see a hiring spree as a bad thing - it shows that the company is growing. What would be bad is if our hiring diluted our culture or the competency of colleagues which we are bringing onboard - something that we take very seriously. People being on-bench for long times should be a concern, but having no bench denies opportunities for growth. We manage the bench very carefully and the number of people on-bench is something that we are comfortable with. What is more important is if there is anyone on bench you cannot be deployed for long periods, and if that number was high it would be concerning - in our case, it is not. We have been working a lot to decentralise further our decision making structures to help speed things up. But I think we are usually pretty fast in our working. I am curious to hear more specifically where you felt that we could have worked faster - there are always opportunities for improvement. I suggest that you reach out to some of the more senior folks for discussing these topics in more detail so that we can exchange our perspectives. I would be happy to take out the time.
