Pros

I have been working at Nagarro for several years now. All this while I have been in different projects and roles, each of which have been continuously challenging and as a result also exciting. People at Nagarro pride themselves at being technologists and are happy only because they are getting to work on complex challenges. From a work culture point of view, the place is very respectful of the colleagues and a continuously friendly and open culture is maintained and also encouraged. The growth prospects at Nagarro are immense. If you want to take up a challenge, Nagarro backs you fully. There are no evaluations or long drawn processes if someone wants to try a new role or area. People are constantly encouraged to learn and find their own interests. There is a very strong push towards learning and development. The training group keeps coming up with interesting concepts and hackathons to ensure that all employees get to participate and also learn in the process. Employees find their own "tribe" when they participate in such organization level competitions which helps them enhance their own areas. In the same way, the project assignment of employees is now being done at the organization level. As a result no employee stays stuck in one project for forever but has the option to request a release and get assigned to a new project. The employees are free to move across BUs and take up the domain of their interests if they request. The resourcing department along with the HR and training group tries to make sure that employees are assigned project roles that match their interests as well as their abilities. The allocation process is somewhat cold and non-personal but I think it is transparent and helps everyone get equal chances at different project opportunities. The HR is very employee friendly and tries to handle employees' personal situations / needs in the most empathetic manner. While this aspect may be very subjective and may depend on a specific situation, I would say that the HR's heart is in the right place.

Cons

Nagarro has been growing very fast in the past few years. People may find areas where Nagarro may not compare with the "big" companies. But that depends on the person's priorities. If you are looking for the "big company experience", Nagarro may not suit you.

Dear colleague, thank you for taking the time to leave your impression of Nagarro here on Glassdoor. I think you have captured the things we value well in your review. Regarding the 'big company' experience, you are right - we don't think of ourselves as a big company and are actively working to put in culture and structures in places that let us behave and move like a small nimble company (even though we are 5000 people now). You will see this being doubled-down upon, and as we grow, we will do our best not to lose the agility and fun factor of a 'small company'.
