Pros

1. Amazing culture. Top to bottom, no hierarchy. Just raise your concern and get it addressed. But for that you should have a concern; chances of which are highly unlikely. 2. Humble management. Every email will be responded in most humble manner even if there is a disagreement for the suggestions that you make. 3. Geeks all around. Lovely environment. Positive vibes; as soon as you enter any of the facilities, you feel motivated. 4. A huge no. of employees who are here for more than 8-10 years. Meaning nobody leaves Nagarro once they have joined. And be it a water cooler moment, or over tea or over drinks, nobody talks about anything related to company in a negative manner. Because they don't have one. 5. If you are passionate about what you do, this is the place; company's powerful sales engine keeps on adding yet another big name to company's clientele. 6. O yeah salary- well Mr. Reader, how do I know about your negotiation skills. Go ahead and try them to realize that why didn't you start working here early.

Cons

The challenge are very weird. 1. For me, the biggest challenge is to say no to an opportunity. You get a choice to select the projects before your allocation and believe me, everyday you see another big opportunity pass by to another colleague because you have selected the one for yourself already, you would feel that I should have said no to that one. The company's powerful sales engine will keep you engaged with this challenge. Everyday another big customer and a better opportunity for everyone. 2. Management is toooooo much caring for employees. Like e.g. you raise a concern as small as seat change and everybody would jump in as if I was dying. And till the time its not resolved, your director to VP to head will keep the administration on their toes. BUT only if you are a star performer. Guys who are mediocre like me, will have to struggle a bit but still it gets resolved.

Thank you for taking the time to post such a wonderful review here on Glassdoor. Some of the points that you raise are very close to my heart and thus give me a lot of satisfaction to hear you describe them. You point about the flat and geeky culture is right on. This is what we are trying to do at all times. Also, your point about being humble is something that is close to our heart as well. I have been with Nagarro for many years now, and that is something that I learned here as well - being humble and respectful towards your colleagues. Respect for your colleague is one of the main core values that we want to cultivate. Yes, we are a fast growing company with a lot of positives. And while nothing is perfect (we do have our share of things that we need to fix to keep getting better), we do have the vision and desire to be so. With regards to the first 'con' - I believe that you should always measure opportunity and growth over longer periods (greater than 6 months or an year even). So, if you are today on a project and you see another one which seems more exciting, don't worry too much - when you got allocated to the project you are on, someone in another existing must have felt the same way about your project. On the other hand, the second point is something that we need to address and are addressing. Employee happiness is universal and not just for those who are 'star performers'. Top performers in any company will have benefits that not everyone has - but these have to be limited in scope, well described and documented, and not amounting to preferential treatment over others for policy driven things such as seat change. We will always attempt to make this move in the right direction. Finally, for your advice to management, I agree with you. And we are working on various mechanisms to address this - we think communication and interaction with everyone in the company from senior levels is very important and critical. There are mentorship programs, internship programs, and other interaction mechanisms (town halls, etc.) which have put in place (or are planning to put in place). Thanks again for taking the time out to describe your experience with Nagarro here on Glassdoor. Please feel free to reach out to anyone in the senior management or HR for any feedback you have now or in the future. I assure you this will always be taken in a constructive manner.

Thank you for leaving a review here on Glassdoor. I personally think that support groups at Nagarro are very important. At the same time, you are right, these groups sometimes remain behind-the-scenes. This is good feedback and I would like to go back and re-look at whether we are doing enough for these groups. At the same time, I would've loved to know which 'support staff' are you talking about. If you can reach out to HR and let them know, then we can at least make sure that we get specific feedback from you on what is missing. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a feedback. I agree that Nagarro is on its way to the next level through the vision of its leaders and the collaboration of all its employees.

Pros

- Lot of talk about the greatness of the company , people feel good about it - 6-7 buildings and well connected by cabs - Excellent cafeteria with world class facilities and mouth watering food - Laptops for all. Rare in other companies - Individual AC in each meeting room - Meeting rooms have no voice barrier , you can get knowledge from what is happening in the room next to you - 4X salary to developers from any sort of background who can write code :) - If you are unmarried and are looking for partner from IT , join here. Lot of couples from bottom to top. Encouraged by policy and supported by sr. Management. - If you are 10-20 yrs experience , managing deliveries, are not hands on, are a good accountant and can make people work over weekends, this company will welcome you as a director .

Cons

- Not a company for a person from IIT, DTU, REC , etc. - Will never let you focus on project at a senior role . Will give you enough work and keep your weekends busy - T&M people are billed to the client fully but are utilized for all sort of activities like COE , presales, hiring ,etc. - Architects can be PM but PM cannot be architect rule. - Old people fiefdom in most accounts - Poor in Senior level hiring.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about us here on Glassdoor. I am a little lost for words since I don't think there are any true pros about Nagarro in your review at all. Let me try to address some of the points in your feedback. Some points are absolutely right and fair of course - some of our meeting rooms in some building do have very poor noise isolation (not a pro). This is something we should correct. And yes, we do have a lot of couples employed within Nagarro - though not as a result of any specific policy. This is something that we are perfectly okay with. Other points are grey - we are not as bad as you think we are. With regards to executing fixed bid projects - I think we are not that bad. We do decently well most times, though as you said, we do have our challenges at times - but we are very good at learning from our own mistakes and we are much better at these projects than we used to be. I also think we are not that bad at hiring senior people either. We have hired some great colleagues at the senior levels - these people bring a lot of value into Nagarro including new thinking about how we should conduct our business. But there are other areas where I think your feedback is off-the-mark. For instance, you talk about lack of encouragement for people to focus on technology - the reality is anything but. We have dedicated career tracks for people with a technology focus to grow to very senior levels. That shows our focus on non-delivery oriented roles as well. I am not sure why you feel that at senior levels, the salaries stagnate or are not enough. The fact that we have some great people joining us and others continuing to stay with us shows that this is not the case. In any case, we are conducting a professional industry salary benchmark to make sure that we are where we think we are. Finally, everyone in Nagarro can choose to 'focus' on what they would like to do. All outside-project activities are voluntary and outside of project time. Not everyone takes part in them - and this doesn't affect them negatively. At the same time, there are always those people who would like to contribute more at an organizational level, and we will always provide avenues for such choices. BTW, we have less than 15 people on Director Delivery level. If one of them is handling less than 10 people, then there is probably a very good reason for it (such as this person being assigned on an account with a large future potential). It is very disappointing for me that even after being with us for over an year, we still haven't been able to show you what makes Nagarro great. I wish that you would give us a chance by taking another look at who we are - and if needed, come and talk to one or more of the senior management about your observations and feedback. I, myself, would be happy to take out the time to discuss this. In any case, thank you again for taking the time to write this review. I have taken some learning from it and already asked for them to be applied towards improving who we are.
