Pros

Salary structure Appraisals have got down, but still better art other Delhi NCR companies Flexible office timings, work from home Focus on technology, innovation Values good and specially old employees; opportunities are here;sky is the limit Simplified appraisal process and less time consuming as well Even a junior associate has lots of opportunities and expose skills Thoughtful CEO, few VPs as well; atleast I get lots of positive vibes from CEO and VP technology who joined 2.5 year back. Awesome.

Cons

Less organized, poor project execution and delivery processes. Developers r simply screwed. Very less functional or domain expertise Though technology first company, but significant improvement needed here. Need analysis on this front. Lots of talks but bad on ground level Less competent innovation groups, perhaps due to long lived and less thoughtful people here. Many platforms are there but quality needs significant improvement on various occasion e.g. internal technology webinars, level up questions, trainings, etc. Automation is great opportunity which is not good here from learning or grow ( both QA, devops) Less employee friendly policies e.g. insurance, work from home, travel policies, external certification, project allocation, etc.

Pros

Better than other IT services company if you are freshers or in the initial year of your career as you would get a chance to learn.

Cons

As you move into some senior role you will find very less opportunity to learn and grow. Management hardly cares about your individual aspiration and career growth. All they want is get the project delivered. Even your designation and kind of work you are supposed to do are kept aside when allocating a project. In some of the projects i have seen even managers working like a developer or tester. Graph of employee engagement is going down. Lets come to annual appraisal part, this too has been come down to merely a single digit now. Even lesser than the average increment by Indian IT companies this year. Honestly, I don't see any good reason to join or stay continue with Nagarro if you are not at entry level of your career.

Dear colleague, Thanks for your comments. You do seem disappointed by your lack of career growth. That we must take responsibility for. I would request you to write to me directly so I can try to understand what you think the company should do better. There are some other things I would like to debate a little. You note that Nagarro is a good place to learn for young people. That's because we work (on the average) on more technically challenging projects. Consequently, and deliberately, we have more of a focus on engineering. Someone at a manager designation working as a developer or tester - the example you mention - is for me not such a bad thing. Engineering is our bread and butter. Finally, regarding increments, the data you have is incorrect. Nagarro's average salary increments in India were much higher than those by other companies here, at least the ones whose data is publicly available. 2017 was a dramatic year for salaries. Look at this news item for example: http://www.gulte.com/trending/59238/After-Infosys-Cognizant-delays-salary-hike. Let's see how 2018 turns out. Nagarro's strategy includes being a top bracket paymaster for top talent, but of course we are constrained by exchange rates and industry trends. Best regards, Manas
